These properties are generally considered inherent characteristics of stainless steel materials, but they are also influenced by factors such as temperature, processing degree, and magnetic field strength. Normally, stainless steel has lower thermal conductivity and higher resistance compared to pure iron, while the properties such as linear expansion coefficient and permeability vary depending on the crystalline structure of stainless steel itself.
